工艺原理：
序批式活性污泥法(Sequencing Batch Reactor)，简称SBR，也称间歇式活性污泥法，属传统活性污泥法的变型，是近十几年来应用为广泛的城市污水生物处理工艺之一。SBR技术的核心是SBR反应池，该池集均化、初沉、生物降解、二沉等功能于一池，无污泥回流系统。典型的SBR工艺，其操作过程由进水、反应、沉淀、出水和待机5个基本过程组成，从污水流入开始到待机时间结束开始下一次进水，构成是一个周期。

适用范围：
1. 水资源紧缺的地方。SBR系统可在生物处理后进行物化处理，不需要增加设施，便于水的回收利用;
2.用地紧张的地方;
3. 对已建连续流污水处理厂的改造等;
4.非常适合处理小水量，间歇排放的工业废水与分散点源污染的治理。

用于设施设计的设计参数应以下值为准：
BOD污泥负荷(kg BOD/kg MLSS•d)： 0.03-0.4
MLSS(mg/L)：1500-5000
排出比(1/m)：1/2-1/6
安全高度ε(cm)(活性污泥界面以上的小水深) ：50以上
